Located in the strategically positioned Milwaukee County Research Park, Oakwood Center was developed in 2000. Irgens purchased land from the Milwaukee County Research Park Corporation and oversaw all aspects of the at-risk development including feasibility, capitalizing, design and construction administration and leasing of this four-story, 66,643 square foot, Class A office building. In a joint venture with Children’s Health Systems, a long-term lease for 90% of the building was executed. In order to meet the occupancy requirements of the major tenant, the project was successfully fast-tracked and completed within budget.
