The ASQ Center, the former Gimbels and Marshall Field’s department store, sold for $19.9 million on June 29. An investment group led by Milwaukee developer Irgens sold the property.

Owners of the Shops of Grand Avenue bought portions of the neighboring ASQ Center office building as well as the ASQ Center’s parking structure at 555 N. Plankinton Ave., which has more than 360 spaces.

The acquisition did not include the ASQ Center’s Residence Inn by Marriott or the offices occupied and owned by the American Society for Quality and tenant Mid-America Real Estate – Wisconsin LLC.
